Hatha
Yoga
Hatha Yoga literally means the yoga
of balanced action. All physical forms of yoga stem from Hatha Yoga. This class is strength building, meditative
and soothing. Postures may be held for several breaths and modified to
facilitate personal growth and individual constitution. In addition to asana (posture) instruction,
this class is infused with pranayama (breathing) practice.
Sustained postures promote strength,
flexibility and the ability of the body to recover from day-to-day stresses.
Classes are tailored to meet the needs of the individual student for that day.
Appropriate for all.
